In Memory of Kathy Thomas

We were deeply saddened by the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Kathy Thomas, in 2023. Kathy was a valued member of the Midwest Financial Group family, and we remain incredibly grateful for the time we shared with her, the dedication she brought to her work, and the warmth she extended to everyone around her.

Kathy served as a registered financial assistant at Midwest Financial Group in Madison, bringing more than 11 years of experience in the financial investment services field. She held both securities registrations and insurance licenses since 2012 and approached her role with professionalism, care, and a passion for service. Kathy supported several of our financial advisors, always striving to ensure each client received a complete, personalized, and thoughtful financial experience. Her commitment to client satisfaction and belief in a true team approach left a lasting impression on both colleagues and clients alike.

Originally from Marlton, New Jersey, Kathy earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science with a business emphasis from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. After moving to Wisconsin in 1988, she and her family proudly became Packers fans and embraced life in the Midwest.

Outside of work, Kathy cherished time with her husband, Glenn; their three children, Devon, Kyle, and Connor; and their beloved rescue dog, Peanut. She loved traveling with her family, especially their trips back east to Cape Cod and Long Beach Island, where they found joy in the ocean air and the beauty of coastal sunsets.

Kathy’s legacy of kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt connection continues to inspire us each day.
